At yellow dog we can not only help with a range of concerns and worries, but we can support you to understand how your journey through childhood impacts on your current emotional experience, your relationships and your sense of place in the world.
Trauma can have a huge impact on your life, effecting all facets of everyday functioning. It can impact on your intimate and family relationships, effect your performance at work and can result in debilitating symptoms. Despite this, it is possible to heal from your past experiences.
At Yellow Dog Psychology we are passionate about helping people heal and overcome the traumatic events they have experienced. We provide effective, evidence-based therapy that helps you manage the symptoms and day-to-day impacts of PTSD/trauma. Therapy can include EMDR, narrative, somatic (body based) and schema therapies and the right therapy approach will be a collaboratively agreed upon.
